What is Smart City Shopping?

We who started Smart City Shopping are Charlotta Carlsen and Pia Stigell. Our idea is to help visitors to Stockholm find the best in Swedish fashion, art and design shopping. How many times haven’t you found yourself in a new and exciting city with just a few short hours to find something special as a momento of your visit? You may know all the right labels and designers, but tracking them down in the short time available is no easy task. Even with the correct addresses, it can be hard to fit it all into a tight schedule by yourself. Not to mention the stress of carrying your purchases around a bustling, unfamiliar city.

Can you imagine how much easier it would be to have a personal guide to take care of all the planning and travel arrangements? That’s why we’re here! Let us guide you round the most internationally acclaimed Swedish brands, boutiques and antique dealers in Stockholm. We take care of both individuals and groups in their search for the right boutiques during their stay and we guarantee a unique shopping experience!

How does it work?

We collect you from a pre-arranged location, for example your hotel, and guide you to between two and six carefuly chosen boutiques. If you book in advance you can personalize your tour, choosing which of our selected stores you wish to visit, whereas if you book the day before you can choose one of our shopping-tour packages. Contact us, and we’ll help you to decide!

We convey you in style by bus or minibus from boutique to boutique. You avoid having to wander the city streets on aching feet, or chance finding your way by taxi. Instead, you travel in air-conditioned comfort, while we take care of your valuable purchases after each visit.

At every stop you are given a friendly welcome and a short presentation, after which you are guided through the store, personally assisted by helpful, knowledgeable sales staff. Most boutiques even offer special reductions, just for you on that particular day. And after your successful days shopping, we return you to your hotel or other desired location, and guarantee that you arrive on time. And if we don’t personally speak your language, we can arrange guides who can!

And if that wasn’t enough, we can even offer pre-booked customers the possibility to shop outside of our boutiques normal opening hours. It adds a luxurious touch to be able to shop undisturbed by the normal hustle and bustle of a popular boutique!

What does it cost?

When you book your tour, you choose which of our stores you wish to visit and also the tour’s duration. When you have made your selection, we submit an estimate for your approval. Contact us, and we’ll help you to decide!
